Enrolments
Approximately 700 students are enrolled at Saint Ignatius College.
Enrolment Policy Preference is given to students from Catholic primary schools, Catholic families and students whose older brothers, sisters, fathers or mothers have attended the College. The College does provide places for students from non-Catholic families. Enrolments are dependent on vacancies and the following conditions: - The student and parents attend an interview with the Principal or his representative. - A parent signature on the Enrolment Form is taken as an acceptance of school policy, regulations and parental involvement. - Payment of the Enrolment Fee
Enrolment Procedure - Year 7
The standard procedure for enrolment is for families to complete an Enrolment Form (available from the college office or from the link below) and submit this completed form together with a copy of the grade 5 semester 1 and 2 reports to our office before the closing date (15/5/09). When enrolments close, the Principals of the 4 Catholic secondary Colleges in Geelong meet and endeavour to place each student in the Catholic College of their choice.
Prospective students and families are invited to attend our Open Day on Sunday 29th March 2009 (11.00 am - 3.00 pm; 11.15am Information session) and / or "See the College at Work" on Friday 1st May 2009 (9.00 am - 12 noon).
