  • The Catholic secondary teachers across the region celebrated Mass on their first day back for 2018 at St Mary of the Angels Basilica, Geelong. Saint Ignatius arranged the liturgy and Music this year.

  • We were thrilled to hear that recently on April 11th, 2018 Gregory Lewis ( class of 2017 & College Captain) graduated from No. 1 Recruit Training Unit - RAAF Wagga.
    There was an 1RTU Graduation Parade which was followed by an Awards Ceremony.

  • We were thrilled to welcome back Lachlan and Maddison as assessors in the Indonesian speaking competition (Sayembara Lisan) which was hosted for primary and secondary students of Indoensian across the region at Saint Ignatius College.

  • We welcomed back Nathan Currie, Founding member of the Old Ignatians and former College Captain of 2009, to the Leadership whole school assembly in November. Nathan spoke passionately about his leadership experiences at the College and as College Captain in 2009, followed by an insight into his media career and how skills developed at Saint Ignatius have been important to him. Nathan presented leadership badges to our proud new College leaders for 2018.

  • The Leopold concert, a College tradition in November, was again a great success with a range of performances from our talented students. We were thrilled to welcome back Louis Reed, class of 2014, an outstanding singer who has just completed a Performing Arts degree at the College of the Arts, Melbourne. He is now planning to audition for big musical Productions, and Mrs. Pape thinks that he will be, no doubt, another Hugh Jackman!
