I write again to share thoughts for your consideration in regards to the Novel Coronavirus and school implications.
Saint Ignatius College has taken the decision to cancel Open Day 2020, to have been held this Sunday, in light of community concerns about the Coronavirus.
Saint Ignatius College has been monitoring advice from the Victorian Health Department, DFAT Smart Traveller and the World Health Organisation with regards to the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus).
Last week we celebrated Ash Wednesday as a College.
A new and essential way for parents to be better informed and engaged with your daughter’s/son’s learning progress is now available.
On Tuesday we as a College celebrated our inaugural beginning of the year mass together as a whole school community.

On Friday last week, we welcomed 1,335 students, including 250 Year 7 students and 15 new students across other year levels back to school.
As the first bell of the year rings out across the College our community enters into forty weeks that is set aside for growth, challenge and joy.
Scholarship applications are now open for Year 7 students in 2021.
The 2019 VCE Units 3/4 results were released last Thursday. I congratulate the VCE Class of 2019.
The school year has ended, holidays have begun and we now patiently await the birth of our Saviour.
