New Buildings Update

Our new Year 9 Centre and Multi-purpose Hall are on track to open at the start of Term 3 2019 with the estimated completion date July 31st. The builders, CICG, have been providing us with regular updates and works are progressing well and to schedule.

Currently CICG are doing the following:

Year 9 Centre

Stopping and sanding ongoing
Wall and floor vinyl completed
Windows doors and trims ongoing
Joinery install completed
External Drainage ongoing

Multi-purpose Hall

Brick facades completed
Carpentry framing and facades ongoing
Internal blockwork completed
All services rough in works ongoing
External cladding ongoing
Multi-purpose Hall Ceiling commenced

Work to be undertaken in the next week or so:

Year 9 Centre

Internal stopping and wall sanding to be completed
Frame all classroom ceilings
Window frames and glazing ongoing
Painting ongoing
Carpentry fix commencing
External drainage ongoing.

Façade cladding ongoing
Painting facades commenced
Services rough in works ongoing
Wall & ceiling framing ongoing
External Lining ongoing
Hall ceiling ongoing
