Employment at Saint Ignatius College

Saint Ignatius College Geelong is unique within the Geelong education sector, providing co-educational Catholic secondary education for students in Years 7 to 12.

As a Jesuit Partner School grounded in the Ignatian tradition of education, the College is located in Drysdale on the Bellarine Peninsula and continues to experience strong enrolment demand from families across the Surf Coast and the Bellarine region. In 2026, more than 1,480 students are enrolled at the College.

The College employs approximately 210 teaching and professional (non-teaching) staff, all of whom play a vital role in fostering engagement for excellence in learning and wellbeing. At Saint Ignatius College Geelong, Ignatian leadership is expressed through the 7 Cs: Competence, Conscience, Compassion, Commitment, Communication, Collaboration and Character.

These principles serve as both guideposts and aspirations — providing clear direction for those who seek to contribute to, and lead within, our College community.
