Saint Ignatius College Geelong
Welcome to Saint Ignatius College Geelong - a leading co-educational Jesuit Companion School from Years 7 to 12.
At Saint Ignatius College, our young women and men share educational experiences and leadership opportunities and, in the process, learn to understand, respect and appreciate each other in our co-educational environment which prepares them for life beyond school. We provide deep and meaningful learning experiences, set high expectations and offer a supportive and caring environment in which to maximise student achievement.
Saint Ignatius College is a co-educational Catholic college offering outstanding educational opportunities to young women and men in a positive and caring Christian community in the Ignatian (Jesuit) tradition of educating the whole person (mind, body and spirit).
The Men's Health Week Companion Evening is a highlight on the Companion Program, encouraging important conversations between our young people and their parent carers surrounding men's health. The Companion Evening, partnering with parent/carers, ensures that these conversations continue at home. This year, the College will welcome Chicago Bull, Dallas Maverick, Melbourne Tiger, Australian Boomer and Hall of Famer Chris Anstey as the keynote speaker on Wednesday the 10th of June.
Saint Ignatius College commends the 162 students who completed their VCE in 2025 on their outstanding results. The College congratulates the 2025 DUX Ameile Anderson on her ATAR of 95.75.
Saint Ignatius College congratulates the 2025 VCE VM student of the year Madison Taylor on this wonderful achievement.
Located just a short drive from Geelong, Saint Ignatius College is set in the rural hinterlands of the Bellarine Peninsula giving it a unique aspect.
The College has undergone a dynamic building program since its establishment and has some of the most advanced school buildings in the Geelong region. Late last year the new Loyola Centre (Student, Staff and Administration services) was completed.
The doors opened in March 2024 to the new state of the art MacKillop Senior Centre. With 16 classrooms, a 330 seat lecture theatre, maker spacers, break out spaces and learning decks, this centre is a hub of learning and teaching for our students in the Ignatian tradition.
