Please note, you will only receive one offer from a Catholic School. The Geelong Catholic Colleges work to review and process applications to ensure families seeking Catholic education receive their preference in accordance with the College's enrolment criteria. If your first preference school cannot offer you a place, you may receive an offer from your second preference. Please ensure your school preferences are listed in preferential order, and that you have lodged an application at each school.

Enrolments for entry at these year levels can be made at any time. Occasionally positions become available at Saint Ignatius College throughout the year and may occur at any year level. Such positions are filled from our waiting list. Parents looking to enrol students need to complete an enrolment for application and supply all supporting documentation (see above).

Letters of offer emailed. Families are notified via email of either successful or unsuccessful applications. An active waiting list is held for families who were not successful. If a position becomes available, families will be notified.
Confirmation of acceptance of enrolment offers are to be completed within the suggested timeline.

Saint Ignatius College fee accounts are sent to parents and guardians at the beginning of the year. The following information provides details regarding the 2025 College Fees.
Fees include subject levies, year level camps and excursions, a student planner and Student Accident Insurance (during school activities only).
Items invoiced additionally to College Fee Accounts include Outdoor & Environmental Studies (VCE Unit); Vocational Education and Training (VET); Music Tuition. Other expenses including, but not limited to; College Production, Year 12 Valedictory Dinner, Study Tours or any other co-curricular activities that may arise, are to be paid on receipt of the invoice.

A School Fees Payment Plan form will be sent to families prior to the end of the year, offering a variety of payment options. If you wish to discuss any matters regarding fees, please contact our Finance Officer at fees@ignatius.vic.edu.au. The $300 Fund assists with financing the construction of College buildings, and forms a vital part of our ongoing upgrade of College facilities. This is a voluntary donation and can be claimed as a tax deduction. This will be placed on the fee account and debited with the first payment.
All Year 7 students attending our College in 2025 will purchase a MacBook laptop at a cost of $1,900, covering them from Year 7 to Year 12. Families will also pay an annual incident protection levy of $100, increasing to $300 from Years 10-12. This eliminates the need for new laptop purchases in Year 10.
An invoice for the MacBook will be sent in 2024, with payment due by 24th January 2025.
For Years 10-12 students who wish to upgrade their laptops, they can purchase a new laptop through the CompNow portal. Please contact itsupport@ignatius.vic.edu.au.
A Family Discount is applied when parents are invoiced for two or more siblings from the same family who are attending the College.
A discount of $100 per family is given to those families with children attending a Catholic Primary School.
A minimum of one term’s notice must be given in writing by the parents or guardians to the Registrar, if a student is to be withdrawn from the College. One term’s fees, in lieu of notice will be applied, if the notice is not received. The full term’s fees will be applicable for any student leaving during a term.

Year 7 2026 academic scholarship applications are now open, with the test taking place at the College on 20th February 2025 at 3.45pm.
These scholarships are awarded on the basis of performance on the examination. The scholarship entitles the successful applicants to a reduction of $1200 off the total school fees per year, for years 7 and 8. The scholarship will be reviewed at the end of the second year, based on academic and school performance.
Scholarship applications are not processed through the College. Saint Ignatius College uses the ACER (Australian Council for Educational Research) Scholarship test and is produced and marked by ACER. Scholarship level is LEVEL 1 – Year 7.
Parents will be informed via email if their daughter/son has been successful in their application.
If, after registering, your child is unable to attend the ACER Scholarship test, please inform the school office 52511136.
Students are to arrive at the school College office by 3.45pm and be collected from the office at 6.40pm (More information is provided on the registration form).
