What a great outcome.
On Tuesday 30th April, the Year 12 VCE VM students travelled to the Geelong Library to present their recommendations to the Geelong Community Foundation board members and 80 invited guests after 12 long weeks of hard work.
Along with students from Clonard College, Bannockburn Secondary College and Oberon College, our SICG students did our College community proud by delivering three very impressive and detailed presentations.
The three not for profit organisations they researched were the Ocean Grove Men’s Shed, Cottage by the Sea and Ocean Grove Surf Lifesaving Club. Gail Rodgers, CEO from the Geelong Community Foundation made this comment.
“ Huge congratulations to the team for guiding your fabulous students through our Schools in Philanthropy program so effectively and with so much passion and huge congratulations to all your students – professional, articulate, respectful and such a pleasure with whom to work. The presentations were of a very high standard A+++.
Well done to the Year 12 VCE VM students.
