Employment Positions for Teachers

The Head of House works closely with the Director of Senior School to maintain a strong focus on learning, faith development, and wellbeing across the College. They are an integral member of the Wellbeing and Senior Pastoral Care Teams and support staff in delivering contemporary, effective learning and faith formation opportunities aligned with the School Improvement Plan. In collaboration with key stakeholders, the Head of House ensures the holistic development of each student, reflecting the Jesuit principle of Cura Personalis—care for the whole person.

The Head of House works collaboratively with the Deputy Principal – Students and plays a key leadership role in the pastoral care and wellbeing of students within one of the four Senior Houses. They oversee approximately 175 students from Years 10 to 12, organised into seven mixed, vertical Mentor Groups led by House Mentor Teachers. As a spiritual leader within the College, the Head of House is responsible for the daily administration, coordination, and overall management of their House, working closely with the Director of Senior School.

This is a full time Teaching Role, commencing in 2026.

The Head of The Arts works in collaboration with the Director of Learning to foster a learning environment that aligns with the Ignatian educational philosophy while promoting pedagogical excellence, high-quality teaching and learning, and continuous improvement across the College.

A key aspect of the role is to lead and create a sense of unity, growth, and development within a learning area. The Head of The Arts works closely with subject teachers to develop a collaborative team approach that enhances teaching and learning. This includes designing, implementing, and delivering a contemporary, challenging, and engaging curriculum across the learning areas to ensure high-quality educational outcomes for all students.

This is a full time Teaching Role, commencing in 2026.

The Testing & Data Administrator Coordinator is a key contributor to driving educational success by supporting the analysis of student performance data, coordinating assessment processes, and enhancing teaching practices. This role ensures that data-informed decisions support student progress and align with the school’s objectives, working closely with the Deputy Principal - Learning & Teaching.
